About

I was trained in clinical and relational psychotherapy at Smith College School for Social Work. This foundation allows me to connect with clients on a human level, and consider how our identities and personal experiences interact with each other in the therapy space. My communication style is steady, warm, and transparent. My approach to therapy incorporates an understanding of harm reduction, where perfection is not the goal, but instead there is a focus on compassion and improvement on quality of life. As we explore your goals, I am here to follow your lead and support you in pursuing the life you want. The most important determinant of success in therapy is your fit with the therapist. With that in mind, I am available for free 15-minute consultation phone calls where we can determine if we would be a good match.
